The biggest news this fall is a new big theme exhibition. VilVite’s program this autumn is a combination of annual activities like building with LEGOs and news like "LitenViten", storytelling with the youngest children surrounding science themes.
One of this summer's big news at VilVite is an evocative film about the Northern Lights(eurora borealis).Northern Lights is regarded as one of the most beautiful natural phenomena. In this film you will take part in the beauty of nature while you learn how this mythical phenomenon occurs.
The film contains some of the most amazing footage of the northern lights made in Norway and is designed specifically for VilVite.
Ever wondered about how it would be to float in space? Or maybe you would like to know why you rightfully can say “In space, no one can hear you scream”. Sit in on the show and get the answers to some of the mysteries of outer space. On request the show will be
told in both English and Norwegian. In the period June 23 to August 21 the show is performed at 12 am and 15 pm.

During the winter vacations we will have extended opening hours. In week 8 and 10, we are open Tuesday - Friday. 9-16, Saturday and Sunday at 10-17. In week 9, the winter vacation in Hordaland, and we are open from 10-17 Monday - Friday, with weekend program every day.
